Nicola Davies Physiotherapy

Nicky Davis

Nicky graduated with a 2:1 in physiotherapy from the University of Brighton in 2001, Nicky has always been passionate about neurology and rehabilitation and was able to specialise early on in her career.

Initially Nicky gained experience in an acute setting through working at The Sussex Rehabilitation Centre on the rehab unit and the neurology wards at Worthing Hospital before moving into the community. Here she gained experience in paediatrics and learning disabilities before working in the community stroke team and community neurological team.

In 2017, Nicky began working as an MS practitioner which has allowed her to develop skills in medication  advice and symptom management regarding fatigue, spasticity and pain.

Nicky also works as a specialist physiotherapist alongside a rehabilitation consultant in a spasticity and mobility clinic where she has developed her skills in spasticity management and assessing patients with complex neuro disability. She has gained knowledge of orthotics and posture management.

Nicky is passionate about patient-centred care and will strive to link body, mind and wellbeing in her work with patients. She has gained qualifications in counselling skills and health coaching as well as mindfulness, both of which help when working with patients and their rehabilitation goals.

Katie Sommerville Pilates Teacher

Katie Sommerville

Katie has been practicing Pilates for over 20 years. Due to a back injury 10 years ago she found her only relief was after a Pilates class so she decided to teach!

Katie then discovered her  passion for helping individuals living with neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, brain injuries, and stroke recovery. 

Small group classes specific to your condition in our studio in West Sussex. £90 for a 6 week course.
